The crisscross molding design on the free-standing Essex cabinet murphy bed is reminiscent of Tudor-style windows. The “Flip Top” Creden-ZzZ style cabinet bed gives sleepers more headroom while keeping a low, easy-to-use top surface. Simply slide items to the back to flip open the top. Latches and safety chains are hidden inside for a clean exterior. The solid sleeping platform makes a comfortable bed — no springs, no rolling to the middle, and no “bar-in-your-back.” Available in queen size only.

Warranty

How long is the warranty?

Arason offers a 1-year limited warranty. 

What does this warranty cover?

This 1-year limited warranty applies the Creden-ZzZ cabinet bed only, not the mattress. It covers any part of the cabinet or cabinet components which fail to perform due to manufacturing defects or defective materials within the one-year period. 

What does this warranty NOT cover?

This warranty does not apply where there is evidence of excessive wear, soiling, imrpoper cleaning or abuse, and any such evidence will void the limited warranty. This warranty does not cover damage or defects resulting from negligence, misuse, user error, fires or accidents or commercial usage, or to cabinets exposed to extreme humidity levels, excessive heat, or extreme temperature variations. 

The judgment of Arason Enterprises will be final as to all matters concerning the conditions of the furniture, the cause and nature of the defect, and the necessity of manner of repair. Expenses incurred by the customer to repair will not be the responsibility of Arason Enterprises, Inc. unless Arason
Enterprises, Inc. is notified in advance of the repair, a written estimate from the repair service is provided and Arason Enterprises, Inc. approves the charges prior to repair. Arason Enterprises, Inc. is not responsible for any assembly charges incurred by customers without its express written authorization.

How do I make a claim?

Should you need to report any problems or claims under this warranty, please contact us directly. Provide photos and a written description of the problem, along with proof of purchase. (Proof of purchase must include the date, the amount, and the items bought.) We will directly contact Arason for service arrangements. 

Repair

In the unlikely event that the repair requires the product to be returned to Arason Enterprises Inc., the costs of packaging and freight between the custoemr and Arason Enterprises Inc. will not be covered and will be the responsibility of the original purchaser. The Creden-ZzZ Cabinet Bed or parts and products may not be altered by any person, dealer, or company without the express written authorization of Arason Enterprises Inc.

About Arason

Arason is all about "sleeping places in small spaces." In 2002, an entrepreneurial couple, Jane and Jon, started Arason Enterprises as a solution to limited space problems, knowing full well that the traditional beds on the market would not solve the needs of those struggling with limited space, and they wanted to go even beyond regular wall beds. 

In 2002, Jane Arason came up with the idea of the original Fu-Chest, which held a futon inside. As time went on, Arason grew outside the futon market and came out with the Creden-ZzZ, the beautiful cabinet murphy bed you see today. Shipping, Returns, and Cancellations

Our Shipping Partners

Order Confirmation:

As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation email.  This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase.  As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment.  If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via email.  If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

Order Shipment:

If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within five business days from the date of your order.  We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out.  If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at sales@spacesavingbed.com

No Shipping outside the USA. (Some exceptions apply - if the website permits you to check out and enter your shipping address, you will receive your order. Some products in particular are available in Canada). 

Upon Receiving The Product (What To Do When Your Item Arrives)

  1. First things first, please make sure to be available at your scheduled delivery appointment. If you are not available, the item will be sent back to the warehouse and you will be responsible for shipping costs.
  2. Once your item arrives, please inspect all boxes carefully before signing the delivery papers. See if there is any box damage, perforation, scratches, or any of the like and make a specific note of the type of damage on the Bill of Lading delivery paper. Be as precise as possible about where and when it seems like the damage may have occurred. If you do not note damage on the delivery papers at the time of delivery, the insurance claim will NOT be valid.
  3. Open your boxes right away. If you are suspicious of damages, ask the driver to wait for you to open the boxes to check for damages before signing the delivery papers, so you can notate any damage. If your driver refuses, please note “possible hidden damage” on the Bill of Lading. It is important to be careful with this, as your claim will be invalid if you do not note damage where it is, and may not be taken seriously if you are not as specific as possible.
  4. If you find any damage to the item, take images and contact us right away within 24 hours of delivery. If you do not contact us within 24 hours, the freight claim may be invalid.

Changing Address

If the order has been processed or shipped and you'd like to change your address, we will do our best to accommodate for this change. Please expect delays for all address changes. However, if there are any additional charges from our freight companies because of this change, this will be paid by the customer. No Exceptions Apply.

Shipping Times

All shipping times are estimates and should not be taken as a guarantee. We make sure our vendors know of new orders to get orders shipped out as soon as possible. With that being said, if a customer decides to cancel an order due to a shipment not arriving in the estimated time frame, the customer is responsible for all associated shipping charges, fees, warehouse storage costs, and any other fees associated with the order. Any customer that files a chargeback for delays in shipping will be held criminally liable for theft. No Exceptions Apply.

Shipping Options

Our base "Curb-side" Pickup shipping is always completely free! This option usually takes between 5-15 days to arrive at your doorstep, after you have submitted your order. There are other options available, however. We also offer:

  • Threshold Shipping: This involves the item being brought onto your porch, or into a sheltered/garage area. 
  • White Glove Delivery - this includes the item being brought into your room of choice, any minor assembly, and all boxes and packaging removed from your house! 

Sometimes, Threshold Shipping or White Glove Delivery may be free for a limited time. If you see this offer, we suggest taking advantage of it immediately as most products usually only qualify for curbside shipping.

Returns

Cancellations & Refunds:

At Space Saving Bed, we pride ourselves on having the best return policies in the industry. Cancel your order any time before it ships completely free of charge (exceptions apply such as custom orders, see below).

Cancellations (Before Order Ships)

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible so we can refund you in full before your order leaves the warehouse. Reach agents during business hours at (469) 949-2484, the chat in the bottom right, or email sales@spacesavingbed.com at any time. 

Cancellations of Custom Orders

Custom or made to order products cannot be canceled or refunded as these products are put into production specifically for your order.

These units are custom made to your specification or created once you order. Once you place your order they start building your unit. Your warranty will guarantee you a fully functional and operational product. If it is not clear whether your order is custom or made to order, please message or call us. 

All sales are final for Custom made and Made to order products.

Refunds and Returns.

If you need to exchange your product, you may do so. You, as the customer, are responsible for any shipping costs throughout any returns and exchange processes. 

Not all orders are available for return once they have shipped. We order our products directly from the manufacturer. Therefore, if the manufacturer will not permit us to return a product, we cannot offer you a return. This often varies on a case-by-case basis; please reach out to us if you would like specific information on your brand and/or product. 

Due to drastically increasing LTL/freight shipping costs, any outright returns will incur up to a 25% restocking fee (varies based on the brand, please contact us for more info) + return shipping costs. If you are replacing the product with something else, we may be able to help you cover some of the costs depending on the product. 

Customers have 30 days from the date they received the item to initiate a return, however, please check the specific return policy for the brand of product you are purchasing as the brand specific return policy on the product page overrides this general return policy of 30 days. Some brands may not allow returns, and others may only allow returns if the product is unopened. Please refer to the specific brand for more information on the specific return policy.

Shipping Times

We promise to do our best to get your order to you as soon as possible. We provide estimated shipping times on the product pages based upon what our suppliers and freight companies tell us, and those estimated shipping times may change or vary without notice (Due to supply chain issues, the steel mills behind on making metal, the manufacturers delayed because of the mills, the overwhelming demand on shipping, factory/warehouse and dock workers and so on). 

Order delays have proven to be unavoidable and outside of Space Saving Bed's control. While this might be frustrating, we ask you to please be patient and understanding with us in these tough times. We thank you for your business and appreciate your patience.

Please Read the Following

When you are making a purchase from Space Saving Bed, you are acknowledging the following of the Exchange Agreement:

  • I understand I am to inspect the package upon delivery, and notate and take pictures if there is any damage and provide it to Space Saving Bed within 24 hours of the product being delivered. If this is not done, a claim may not be filed for me.
  • I understand that I am responsible for the cost of return shipping and the cost of a new product shipping in the case of a refund or exchange. 
  • I understand that products need to be returned unopened and unused.  An additional restocking fee may occur.
  • I understand that if my order has left the warehouse, that I am unable to receive a full refund. 
  • I understand that if I return my order once it has shipped, I will be responsible for paying any return shipping fees and restocking fees, which vary by product but are up to 20%. 
  • I understand that shipping date estimates outlined on product pages are estimates and may change due to factors completely outside the control of Space Saving Bed.
  • I understand and agree that I will not cancel my order or file a chargeback for an order delay or because an estimated time provided to me turned out to be incorrect due to factors outside the control of Space Saving Bed (such as manufacturing and logistical constraints of our partner companies).

Damages

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage, you should make very specific note of it when signing for delivery. If your item(s) do arrived damaged, please send photos of damage, box and SKU, along with a brief description of the damage to sales@spacesavingbed.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf. Photos and videos must be sent for freight damage within 24 hours of arrival or the freight damage claim will not be valid. Any punctures, or visible signs of exterior damage must be reported within 24 hours. 

If you do not note damage on the delivery papers when signing, the freight damage claim will not be valid. This is crucial, if you find any damage upon delivery, note it and be specific on the delivery papers before signing.

 

Warranty

Warranties vary depending upon the manufacturer - see individual product pages for details. Warranty damages occur over time  if an item was damaged upon arrival, and not reported within 30 days, that is not a warranty claim.

Returns

The Space Saving Bed default is that customers will be responsible for all return shipping charges or reconsignment fees caused by customer error, unless otherwise stated on the product page. 

Nearly all of our products have guarantee warranty policies - meaning that you will 100% get a fully functional, operating product that you paid for without any extra expenses incurred on your end - please see individual product pages for details. 

BOGO Promotions

In the event of a BOGO promotion, both items must be returned for a full refund. If one of the two items is returned, you will get a replacement of that item or store credit for the value of that item when purchased on its own. If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges and depending on the manufacturer, potentially a restocking fee. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order.

All customers agree that they have read, understand, and agree to the terms and conditions above.

Chargebacks

Our team of agents are here to assist you and resolve any issues. We have purposefully made our policies as fair as possible, and we believe they are the top in the industry. We are on your team. We are immediately responsive and will do all that we can to help you out and provide the best resolution.

Given this, any customer that files a fraudulent chargeback will be held criminally liable for theft. If you have not received a product, or have an issue with a product that you did receive, please contact us, and we will help you resolve your issue. Please do not file chargebacks for issues that we can resolve together. Thank you for shopping with us!
